Arduino-Powered Skeleton-bot ‘Plays’ Piano, Makes a Great Halloween Prop | #ElectronicHalloween @bmitov

OK so the skeleton isn’t actually playing the piano – it’s still an excellent Halloween prop, and might inspire your own skele-bot ideas. The bot itself is powered by a Mega, and was programmed using Boian Mitov’s Visuino software. (In the YouTube video comments Boian mentions adding support for the MP3 shield to allow props to sing!)

SKELLY the ROBOT Controlled by Arduino and programed using Visuino
Skelly the Robot has an Arduino Mega controller, Cytron PS2 Shield, Modified Sensor shield and a wireless PS2 controller. Skelly has a total of 8 servos. Six servos run his right and left shoulders, elbows, and wrists. One servo runs his mouth and one turns his head. There is a small motor in his head with a counter weight which gives him the shakes. I used VISUINO Software to program Skelly; it is a visual programing system which made it possible for me to program. This was my first robot and I still have a few things I want to add, like sound and sight.
